Under the scorching hot weather, temperatures that rose above +25C at 6am in the morning, I ventured into the gigantic Royal Norfolk Show happening in Norwich.
Although this project was to take pictures of one of my client’s banners, I took the opportunity to capture the event itself. Naively, I thought it would be a “stroll in the park”, nothing too big my little legs and my heavy camera wouldn’t be able to handle… How wrong was I.
Bringing a hat and more water will have to be priority number one next time! Then, maybe a lighter rig to make things easier on myself. Needless to say, I didn’t need to go to the gym after that. Calories sweating away without lifting a finger, or two.
But back to the event, it was a lovely one, loads to do, a bigger map IRL than on paper, catching up with people I knew but also new ones. Although this event is opened to public and families can attend, it felt very much like a big networking event at the same time.
